A wee number for a Saturday night, when having a glass of wine. Enjoy

Aren't ipods useful, my problem is i store everything on it, all the christmassy jingles, etc. Would love a ipod touch, or maybe the iphone. This is my choice just now, courtesy of the music channel in the background.

My Grandfather's Eyes by Jay Turner is worth a listen to but I can't find a copy to down-load  ::) - the first time I heard it I cried ...... quietly in a folk club.

The other is:  Lies by Stan Rogers sung by Hilary Spencer

I can't find the Jay Turner song though have found his myspace with other songs. Can only find Stan Rogers singing Lies - no trace of Hilary Spencer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D79XOc1vKzQ

Thanks Taz - what a fabulous velvet voice he had.  What a nice looking guy too.  Moved me to tears.

As for Break my Stride, lovely version - thank you!

This song sounds a bit morbid "one of us will die inside these arms" but it is a love song and means that they have found their true life partner - have a listen to the words it is not very long http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd-A-iiPoLg

Sorry to hear that Eddie - it is almost seven years since I lost mine. Beautiful track thank you.  It's called anniversary as it is a date which occurs annually - not just a celebration.

I do miss him terribly, but i'm happy he is at peace now, just going to get my Mum, who's not so happy with it all. Poor soul.
This is another of his songs, i made a disc of them and i listen to them back and forward. Gone but not forgotten.

My Dad taught this to my brother. And the rest of the family had to listen to this every Sunday for months. lol

Another one I had totally forgotten!  It makes me sad, in a nice way, as it was a favourite of my dad's.  Acker's Bilk's Stranger on the Shore.  It came out, I think, a couple of years before my dad died in 1963.
