This is great, just logged on, sifting through topics with our own radio show playing in the background.

This reminds me of the first guy i was madly in love with. I was 20, he was 25, i was a sailing instructor, he was canoeing instructor, but also in charge of all the instructors. Total infatuation, but first love.

We should compile a CD collection out of this lot.  Very varied.  Love it.

I've got a great cd called Women in the Country. We could call it Women in the Meno. Proceed to the forum! Eddie. x

We would have no shortage of a wind instrument accompanist

It's through my sons - just listening to what they used to listen to back in the day when they were all playing guitar in their bedrooms. I would sit on the stairs and have a listen to what they were doing. My eldest son would always make me a compilation cd for christmas birthday etc taken from the internet - he called it Cheapskate Recordings! Now I go to lots of gigs to watch him play and that leads to others too. He is also involved in a podcast every month picking out new music. Oh yeah I listen to BBC 6 music too and Huw Jones on Radio 1 to get any new info. My sons have a lot to answer for. These lads are great too - just beginning to go places and they do give good hugs! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9OHTURaiUA&feature=player_embedded

Paulo Nutini now there's a talent.  He could wipe the floor with the X Factor lot!  He writes, he sings and looks ok too.

This still really gets to me - that first line "I'm running away with you" really says a lot about a year of my life - I didn't but often wonder where I would be now if I had  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLY0eUtVlXo
