Hi all, I'm sure there must be others on here that had existing mental health conditions before menopause but were never warned or should I say given info about how much this change and the impact it would/have on there lives??

Health anxiety had always been part of my life, but severely ramped up during meno. I’m now a good 11 years post, but it’s still with me.

I was already on treatment since 1989 so fortunately peri didn't affect me.

It may B that women aren't heard when they present in the Surgery with vague symptoms put down to depression and anxiety instead of searching for a deeper cause.
