MenoMove - Movement for Wellness Programme

Hello group! I am new here! I am a movement specialist going through perimenopause. As perimenopause has really hit me hard, I started gathering responses from people who want to try something different to support their wellbeing - because even as I am often having these discussions and the isolation and ongoing battles with the body often worry me. I have about 20 years experience in cultivating self-care groups to support people going through burnout and creating supportive spaces where people can use movement, the arts and reflection to navigate daily stress. The more creative tools we have to combat challenges, the better! My company received funding from Arts Council Wales to partner up with Aneurin Bevan Health Board and have funding to run a free pilot focusing on body movement and creativity to gather people together to share their experiences, feel seen and heard (participants' words) and learn new ways to cope with symptoms.
