Just to add to Wrensong's excellent comments regarding biotin and TFT's, if you do take a high strength biotin supplement, don't be scared if your urine turns bright or even fluorescent yellow. B vitamins are water soluble and your body will just excrete any extra that it doesn't need. (Sort of defeats the object of taking high strength)

I took Biotin supplements for a while.   As there was no discernible improvement to my hair I gave up.
