Does anyone use any products from Life Extension?

I'm looking at their Pumpkin Seed Oil Extract, for urge incontinence.

It's an American brand, and unsure whether US products are good and safe.

Have U consulted an appropriate Nurse regarding urge incontinence?  Most surgeries have Nurse Practitioners who will give advice.

I found appropriate vaginal atrophy treatment eased any irritation, the need2P, discomfort within 3-4 weeks.  R U using anything nightly for VA?

It's an excellent brand. My functional medicine doctor in London uses them among other brands. I would highly recommend them and use a number of their products, and have been since around 2012. Sign up with Life Extension Europe and you often get discounts for multiple buys, or shipping free etc. They have put a lot of money into research and have some cutting edge products. I rank them up there with Biocare and Allergy Research Group and Nutri Advanced. Oh and Pure Encapsulations.

I'm on their sublingual dhea and it's the only brand I trust.

My blood tests before and after prove that the therapy is genuine.

Hi CLKD, I'm on vagifem, have been a while but it doesn't help, though I have decided to keep using it to help strengthen my pelvic floor due to prolapse.

Thank you Penguin & Bombsh3ll, that's really encouraging.

I was/am a bit worried as I did ask if this pumpkin seed oil product was third party tested, which they confirmed, however declined to provide me with a copy of the paper, which I found quite concerning.

Their sublingual gaba and l-theanine is also really good if you ever need it. It was the only thing that got me over the massive anxiety spike when I stopped taking the utrogestan every month. Really effective stuff.

I haven't taken this brand but will now I've read this thread.

I want to take pumpkin seed oil, it's supposed to increase testosterone levels in the pelvic area.  Years ago when I had bladder emptying problems (wouldn't empty properly, then resolved later, years before meno), pumpkin seed oil was amazing.

But I'm sensitive to tyramine, not sure how much is in pumpkin seed oil.  The few times I've tried it I've had symptoms, but I've also taken other things, so it's hard to know.  Does anyone know how high or low it is for tyramine?  Google is a bit vague.

Do you mean allergic reaction type symptoms? You could always try and contact Life Extension and ask one of their product specialists. I guess the issue is if it is naturally occurring or added.

Just a sensitivity rather than an allergy.  But the symptoms I get are similar to what I sometimes get on estradiol, migrainey, ringing in the ears, dizzy on standing etc.  So finding it hard to distinguish.

I might give it another try now I'm a bit more stable with the estriol cream I'm using.  If I get stronger symptoms, then it's tyramine.  I will ask the company as well, thanks Penguin.  I think it's naturally occurring in it, but it depends on how much.  I can't eat cheese or other aged foods.
