55 yrs old. Had Mirena coil fit due to digestive problems on Oral/vaginal utrogesten. Since having it fit 10 weeks ago I’ve continually bled and have been super sensitive/reactive/paranoid. I also was taking three pumps of oestrogen alongside it. However, been in touch with menopause nurse at our GP’s and she thinks the coil isn’t working/dislodged so referred me for an ultrasound scan this week. She told me to start taking two utrogesten tablets and to cut down to two pumps of oestrogen. That was a week ago. I started taking the two prog and the bleeding nearly all but stopped then the last two nights have cut gel pump down to two. I have started bleeding heavily again. Why the hell do I have to cut down the oestrogen? I am wholeheartedly sick of trying to get HRT balance right. I need the oestrogen as my fibromyalgia symptoms have started to come back today. I’ve seen private specialists too but am totally confused about hrt and what to do in this situation. I’m down, angry, impatient and highly reactive and feel worse than ever and this is nearly 8 years I’ve been persisting with HRT. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you
