They R unlikely 2 telephone U and due to the weekend the results are unlikely to be 'ready'. They have to be seen along with lots of others, reported upon and be made ready for the appt.

That's why follow ups are so important because many patients don't get to see a GP/Consultant after investigations have been arranged.

I find that a list made the evening B4 helps, even the mundane things.  I can then see what I have achieved each day.

Ok so Wednesday, you're almost there. They very rarely phone with results, the Dr I see, wants to speak to you whether good or bad.
Could you try phoning THEM?

I could try calling them but then if they don't tell me anything that will make me think it's not good .And I will over analyse every word they say and read to much in to it . And then the waiting will be more torturous.  I can't win really. I've actually thought about texting the nurse who gave me her phone number to ask any questions I may have. But I'm pretty sure she wouldn't be able to respond to a text.
And even if she did I would read to much into every word. I'm my own worst any at times.

Hi ladies, I had a phone call a wee while ago . It's good news it was completely healthy breast tissue.  I do have some cysts but the bit the biopsied was totally normal.

I am relieved beyond words.  When the Doctor called I near had a heart attack and I must have sounded like a complete looney on the phone. I was over breathing and sobbing with releif then cut her off by mistake.  I had to take a valium to calm me down after.

I just want to say thank you so so much for taking the time to respond to my post and your kind words.  It's very much appreciated. Xxxx

Having been through breast disease treatment in 1995 or 6, I know a little of how you feel.

Feet up, bar of chocolate to hand to celebrate ?
