I would take before going into the cinema as it'll mellow you while you're out plus it'll still be in your system at bedtime so you should go to sleep easier too. I have 5mg tablets but never need that much in one go - on a bad day I'll take 2.5 then another 2.5 later.

I've had 10mg Valium twice a day for a week which knocked the intense anxiety on the head, followed by 5mg when necessary.  As well as 2mg twice a day. It's used as a pre-med so calming ;-)

Did U enjoy the Film?

Hi penguin and CKLD, thanks for the replies.  I ended up not taking the diazipam to go to the cinema and I wasn't to bad . I just keep getting moments where I'd feel this surge of anxiety and horrible thoughts but made it through.  I have another football game to attend in the morning so will take one at bedtime which will be soon as I'm exhausted.

The film was okay not something I'd choose to watch on my own. Kids loved it so that's what matters .

Hi CKLD ,yes I slept OK till about 6 . Was up early as kids had football.  Standing absolutely freezing at the side of a pitch for 2 hours helped keep my mind busy 😀.

Anxiety drains me as I come down from it.

What's the worst that could happen?

The worst that could happen? I can't even say it as I think if I say it it will definitely happen.  My anxiety is off the charts today.  I can't wait to get to my bed I'm exhausted from it all.

Nope - we have no destiny over what might/not happen other than walking in front of a vehicle for example!  I was more worried about panic attacks stopping me from attending the various treatment sessions that were required  ::)

Think of you, I know exactly how you're feeling. When I was recalled it was the worst wait ever, same with the wait for this ct scan, I actually made myself really ill. I really don't think they would say it looked less suspicious now if there was a tiny doubt in their minds it could be anything nasty, try to focus on that x

Hi CKLD ,no I don't suppose we do have any control over our destiny I think that's what scares me. Not having any control over my own body scares me so much.

Jaypro ,are you waiting on ct scan results now ? Anxiety is an awful battle isn't it. It's like a constant battle with your thoughts.  X

My appointment is Wednesday afternoon x
