Hi, I think I may have seasonal affective disorder, I really feel gloomy at this time of year, everything seems so much more difficult and I don't have much energy. I've decided to try a light box- anyone got any advice?

I get this too. Lumie is a good brand. Getting out early in the morning and at least half an hour of daylight early on help. I have a box which I set and slowly does a sunrise over a period of about 50 minutes and ends in full daylight. Can also do a sunset too. I feel you, it's hard.

thanks both, as it happens this morning where I am the sky is blue an the sun's even shining so I feel much better than yesterday when it was grey and overcast!

I’ve been feeling the same and bought a Lumie lamp last week. I have to say I feel much better for using it.

This. Reminds me to use my Lummie.

I also take vit D.

Allotment (outside) and riding a motorbike (don't have a car) also help.

Vit D3 + lightbox  + going for a walk in the rare moments of winter sunshine helps me get through.
