Hi ladies,
I have seen a couple of people mention that they keep their Ovestin/Vagifem in the fridge.  I live in Australia, and we are entering summer.  We had a few hot days a little while ago (30+ degrees) and I wonder about the efficiency of my current tube of Ovestin, as I am in the middle of a VA flare.  I have popped my 2 new tubes in the fridge.  Does anyone keep their Ovestin permanently in the fridge?  I would assume that keeping it in the fridge at 4 degrees would be ok?

I looked into this recently and ended up storing both my treatments in a cool box when we had a heatwave in the UK as Ovestin and Vagifem are not that tolerant of high or low temps.

I found this on an Australian website if it helps

"Estradiol Pessary (Vagifem Low®): Store below 25°C. Store in a dry place protected from
light. Do not refrigerate.
Estriol Vaginal Cream (Ovestin Vaginal®): Store below 30°C.
Estriol Pessary (Ovestin Ovula®): Store below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture."

Thank you. I would have thought the cream would be safer in the fridge than where it might get close to 30 degrees. Not sure if it is why I’m suddenly having some issues but it timeline wise, the warmer days 2 weeks ago could have degraded the cream a bit.
