Started the day anxious and was in uncontrollable tears by 8am. Managed to hold myself together whilst working from home for most of the day but anxiety remained high and I have felt dizzy and unfocused most of the time. I've just got back from an unplanned trick or treating walk around the block with our 5 year old and almost had a panic attack whilst we were out. I can't tell if this is just a psychological problem, a horrible physical illness, or part of being in peri but today has not been good!

I'm 43 next month. My cycles have gone between 13 and 90 days over the last year.
Unfortunately I've had anxiety most of my life too which causes me to have very strong physical symptoms! All very confusing!

You just reminded me I have some ice cream in the freezer...

Sorry to hear you’re struggling.
I’m like that when I’m not on hrt, and I’m post meno.
Terrible isn’t it. You have my sympathy because I know how you feel.
Anxiety and panic attacks are the pits, you’re not alone.
Just be kind yourself, and 🤞🏼 fingers crossed, it’ll pass off. x

Thank you both, I've been calming down a bit reading threads on here this evening. Sorry to hear about your panic attack CLKD. It's terrifying for an adult, let alone a 3 year old.

Controlled over the years with Valium 'as necessary', Propranolol 40mg night and morning then 20mg at night to ease anxiety surges in the early mornings .  I have an emergency go-2 pill now.  The anti-depressants keep the illness under control.

Feel nauseous.
Had a bad day yesterday, tired, felt really poorly.
I said to Jaypo, I’d had no sugar for two days, so maybe it was that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

EAT GIRL EAT!  blood sugar may be low  ::).  What do U fancy jillydoll, bananas are a quick fix or dried fruits and nuts!

R U able to explain what 'no sugar' actually means?

Befuddled after looking at fridge/freezers  ;D.  I know how to live  :D

I was very sceptical before buying a Haier fridge freezer because I'd never hear of them before but it's probably the best one we've had  :D

I’ve got a Haier washing machine. It’s a Chinese make, I’m really happy with it.
Even plays a tune when it’s finished. 🤣😂🎵🎵🎵

No sugar. ?
What I mean is Id had nothing with added sugar in it.
So I didn’t have sugar in coffee, any biscuits, anything sweet at all.
I’d had just chicken salads, and two slices toast for breakfast.
I know there’s natural sugar in things, but my sugar levels must’ve dropped to nil to make me feel like that.
Today, I’ve eaten like I’d normally eat, and I feel fine again. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh Chinese ......... have to check who is making the models that were saw today  ::)

So many have additions that we would never use: i.e. water coolers which have to be plumbed in etc..  We want to take out the large chest freezer and upright fridge and replace with ..........  :-\

The body needs sugars, salts, minerals etc.; whilst we get a certain amount from 'natural' foods rather than additions in ultra processed stuff, can't call it food - fruits are particularly good for our bodies which rids itself of things that ti doesn't require.  Bananas are my go-2, DH snacks on dried fruits in moderation as he did put weight on  ::).  He eats a lot of apples; figs, prunes, mango ........ those sugars the body processes differently.

I have fads  ::).

I’m bloody fed up listening to it.  ;D
You can turn it off, but in a good week, it’s quite nice to hear.  ;D

I love bananas. 😍
