Evorel patches/ Utrogestan tablets - Can I delay a bleed?
« on: August 02, 2022, 09:44:58 AM »

Hi, just about to start my third month of Evorel patches and Utrogestan tablets, which I take day 12-26. I was originally on  Evorel 50 patches, then bled for 2 weeks on the first cycle when I started taking the tablets. The second month  I bled for a week from day 24.  I also had an upset stomach/ feeling sick for first few days both months when I started the tablets.I spoke to my GP who upped the patches to Evorel 75.
I'm going on holiday in 10 days and don't really want to be bleeding for most of my first week away, but my doctor said it wasn't advised to delay or change taking the Ustrogestan. It might not be advised but is it something others have done? And if you delay by a week or two, did you have a break thru bleed or did it delay your bleed? I'm a week post covid and feeling pretty crappy anyway, but could really do without a bleed and all the other side effects. Thank you for reading.
