My mum and her friends in the retirement flats have jus finished a communal rewatch of the thorn birds.
Now they are gonna start on Tenko.

As I remember Tenko was mainly female cast and some great actresses in it
.
They (all the ladies in the retirement home) were all swooning over the guy in the thorn birds. Makes a change from them swooning over poldark😁

I like Vera, and detective dramas in general. Also historical dramas. Documentries especially history ones.

Hate Strictly and anything like it. Master chief is the pits as is bake off. Hate most sports except cycling. Most soaps but sometimes watch Doctors. Call the Midwife UCK.

Listen to Radio 4 and Classic FM. As much as I watch TV.

That would be Richard Chamberlain then  :whist: = The Thorn Birds and Penmarric are 2 books that I would take to my Desert Island  ;)

Tenko is based on a true tale.  My FinL was under the 'care' of the Japanese  :'( ....... at the fall of Singapore.

Tonight I watched Dan Snow with the Armarda ......... again.  But I don't mind a bit of Dan  8)
