Lack of appetite on evorel conti
« on: May 17, 2022, 08:26:09 AM »

Has anyone else experienced a total lack of appetite on the evorel conti patches?

Everything states It should have an increase appetite but mine has gone :(

Nothing tastes nice, can't be bothered chewing ...

Well it should have settled by now.  Mine took about 6 months to really kick in. Have you tried vitamin b6?  They perk you up and you feel like eating more.

Just to be sure, maybe have a thyroid hormone check, if hyper then you can lose your appetite. Estrogen and progesterone can impact thyroid hormones.

Ah ok. Some of us, as someone else here just told me, on thyroid meds find that HRT can affect efficiency. I’ve had to lower my dose as I tested after 6 months and it was over the range. Started evorel & Utrogestan in September like yourself. I reduced my dose and it’s now fine. I’m not certain if it’s estrogen of Utrogestan that affects it the most, I think the latter but if you haven’t had a thyroid check recently, maybe do a full panel checking Free T4.
