HI

Which vaginal estrogen is the strongest? I still have dryness despite using vaginal estrogen. X

Have you tried the PH balance pessaries from Boots? I use them alongside vagifem

No I haven’t used PH balance pessaries from boots. Will they help with dryness?

I think Ovestin is the strongest. You could try using Vagifem as well which works on different receptors to Ovestin as it is a different type of oestrogen. You can use it 5 × a week. Also, you could add in vaginal moisturisers such as Yes VM or Olive and Bee. Another option would be the Estring.

I'm newly diagnosed with GSM, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, and finding blissell gel useless unless I can use it every day. I've got yet another phone consultation tomorrow and I definitely want something stronger.
Its not dryness that's the problem it's the awful itching, burning and soreness. Even vaginal moisturising cream stings at the moment.
Any advice gratefully received

On of the reasons it stings is because the vaginal walls are thinning, they can easily be torn too, I had this and had bleeding,I was put on vagifem and it did clear it up

Appropriate vaginal atrophy treatment is for every night for 14+ until the area feels more comfortable.  'blissell' can be used every night/not?

'ovestin' works for me  ;) internally and occasionally on the outer labia.

Some find that 'yes' or 'sylc' helpful along with VA treatment of as jaypo suggested, PH balance pessaries.

I find ovestin the best option. I have to use it every day, but I still have dryness. I wonder why I still have the dryness if I’m using vaginal estrogen every day? I’ve used YES etc in the past, but it’s just such a faff using so many things. I have dry eyes, mouth too.
