Stand up and walk around for a bit. Does it ever happen when you are driving? Mind you if you have been up since 5 then that's quite a while to be awake. Not sure though - I get up at 6.30 and don't get sleepy till after midnight. Will have to have a rethink on that one  ;D

I get home at 4:30 pm so no doesn’t affect my driving  :)

I think that setting an alarm for 30 minutes when you do have that overwhelming urge to sleep, as suggested on the sleep sites, might help.

Update: I bought a watch recently that monitors my sleep and I have had some good sleeps recently. Apparently waking up once or twice a night is normal. I’ve had low deep sleep continuity a few times but I still get 7/8 hours in. I was worrying over nothing.
