What would you be using it for exactly?
Have you put it in the search box to see if anything comes up  ;)

A product advertised on TV this week: menobrain can't remember which 1  ::) : states that it includes bamboo oil.  Well bamboo is a grass.  Pandas love it  ;D.  It grows in many different regions and in many different types.  It has a pith through it which disappears once the grass dies.  Hence why it is used for 'bug hotels' as well as cut for bean poles etc..

I do worry that 'bamboo oil' might tempt people to buy a product which doesn't have in it what it claims  :-\.  DH looked and it's supposedly 'silica' but grass isn't silica.

As for bamboo pants ........  :o

Does anyone know about bamboo - constitution, uses; whether those uses are genuine or taking advantage of people wanting something different ....... when I see the advert I'll let you know.  DH and I looked at each other and went 'whhhhattt'  ::)

There is lots online about this CLKD. Give it a Google. I can't post a link as there is usually a shop facility included. Far too much to put on here but it is being used to try to cut the amount of plastic in the environment. I've got bamboo drinking straws and socks  ;D

So is it something you are looking at to use as an alternative for your menopausal symptoms? I'm only asking as you've posted it in the Alternatives Section of the forum  :)

It's supposedly of health benefit.  Can't remember the advert exactly - that will come when I've seen it again.

We looked up bamboo 'oil' but can't find out how to make oil from bamboo which is a grass  :-\.  I wonder if the public are being 'conned' by thinking that bamboo is the 'go to' product for health.

I have sent a query to a UK grower of Bamboo ......... it worries me that many health products are stocked by well known chemists without them doing any actual research!
