Serious illness and the connection with stress.
« on: January 18, 2021, 11:26:40 AM »

Hi,

I received a book in error with my Waterstones order.  This book turns out to be one of the most important, informative and interesting books I have read in a long time.

When the body says no

By Gabor Mate.

People with auto immune illness will find it particularly useful.

I think the trick is to allow oneself to attribute chronic conditions to stress and not strive to identify them with something more acceptable, excusable almost. "Stress" is a loaded word whereas it is the systems that have become "stressed". Hence, dis-ease, not disease?
