 :thankyou:

When I looked yesterday it hadn't been rescheduled on the Circuit web-site, but the Events organisation had put it back to October.  No joined up thinking - wonder how many will turn up!

Test & Trace is officially a waste of money then.

Who'd have thought it. 🤔 🙄

Now he's off to the Far East  :o ........... no dates given but that is his next holiday.

Meanwhile in Wales:

Seventeen patients are being treated after contracting Covid-19 at a north Wales hospital.

Betsi Cadwaladr health board said of the 39 patients being treated for coronavirus at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, 17 had caught it in hospital.

Staff and patients are being tested for the virus after an outbreak was confirmed on five adult wards at the end of February.

The health board said the majority of patients were recovering.

Initially it was over 100 patients, some transferred to Ysbyty Gwynedd from hospitals outside Wales, i.e. Shropshire - due to a lack of beds in England.  What happened to ............

We are in another lockdown for 4 weeks (at least) and as of 12:01 this morning, a stay-at-home order is in effect.  The school boards around us have gone to remote learning but not our school board. The new cases have been 3000 per day and I don't get how some schools are still open.  The government did announce that teachers may be able to get their first shot over the spring break, which is next week.
Dh is getting his shot next Friday as anyone 60 plus in our region are eligible now.

Sorry you've got another lockdown. It's so difficult to know when any of us will get back to something that passes as a normal life. Glad your DH is getting his shot soon.

This time around people are quite fed up with the provincial government. The vaccine rollout has been lousy and the stay-at-home order is just making everyone angrier. The minister of education is a doofus...he says the schools will stay open despite the lockdown.  How does that make sense?  The teachers I talk to daily are all hoping the break will be longer or the public health orders the schools closed, which goes against what the government wants.

Whoo hoo! I will be eligible to register for a vaccine appointment as of this coming Friday! The government finally decided that teachers and educational workers are essential.  Schools will be closed for spring break next week so they want to try and get all those that work with kids registered as soon as possible.
