Gifts - 2023
« on: December 25, 2020, 03:34:38 PM »

4 my birthday I had bubble bath and a B&Q token as well as money from Mum and lots of cards.  The token will be spent on paint/outdoor lights/bird feeders.

2-day I've opened two lots of bubble bath  8) and 3 good books thus far.  As well as a long-sleeved thermal layer to keep me warm  :-*

Pausing now for a banana  :D

I got money that I bought craft items with. Its great as I have things I want however cos I chose its not a surprise. I do find I also get things I don't want and end up havi g to buy my own presents as well as buying for other people so it costs me alot of money. I would rather not exchange gifts and spend the money on myself so I have what I want. I sound so ungrateful don't I 🤔

;D  bit like me then ...... for a few years I've hinted that we don't need to buy anything other than for each other as we are at an age when we have what we need  :D

Wrapping paper tidied away this morning, most into the compost to rot down.

I got 2 pairs of hiking socks, a down-filled running jacket,  my daughter crocheted a little hippo (so cute), Bailey's chocolates in my stocking (they didn't last long lol), and money from my father.  I'm going to use the money to buy me some new clothes once the stores open back up again. I don't like to buy clothes online.

That sounds great, tnx for sharing.  I'm looking for knee length warm socks ......... still.  Men's are too big in the feet, womens' don't seem to exist!

I have a good pair of knee-length hiking socks. I don't know if you have a brand called Smartwool in the UK?  They are a Merino wool blend and they are so comfy, they also have added cushioning in the heel and forefoot (I used to sell them lol).

I had, a big flower arrangement off my son, with two balloons, for my birthday on Xmas eve, A bottle of rather nice perfume, and Boots vouchers.
I had a lovely present off Jaypo, thanx babe. Xx

For Xmas, I had, ...A teddy bear off OH, as we said this year, not to bother. ( I lied) 🙄
More boots vouchers, lots of toiletries, a balloon glass with gin and tonic and a glittery wine glass with a bottle Prosecco. Shame, cuz I don't drink! 🤣😂🤣
I also had presents off Jaypo for Xmas, one was fab, one was ok, but will have to learn to scribble, and one was obsolete. 🤣😂🤣 All great tbh.

I saw someone on TV recently on a mat facing a screen - they were jumping or putting squares together in pairs .......... but I haven't any idea how to GOOGLE for similar.   :-\. I need more exercise.  They also come in hand-screen variations.

That sounds as if you would need a console? Mind you I'm a bit behind now that all my sons have left home!
