High strength Turmeric
« on: December 13, 2020, 03:14:14 PM »

Hello :)

In case it helps anyone... I have been taking a high strength turmeric supplement for a month. It may be coincidental, who knows, but, this month I didn’t suffer from tender breasts, low mood or crashing tiredness. I have reordered and hope this continues!

Merry Christmas 🎅🏼

That great Sally,  :)

Turmeric is well know as an anti inflammatory..  I have also had good results with rosehip.

Turmeric is added to most Indian curries.  Be warned, as a powder it STAINS  ;D

Hello ladies.

Sally S and Shadyglade -  your reports on Turmeric and Rosehip are very interesting. I have seen some research on the anti inflammatory benefits of Turmeric but I didn't know about Rosehip. If Turmeric also lifts mood I need to order a bucket load lol.

I have mentioned before on the forum that Vitamin D supplements have helped COVID patients and reduced the course of their disease.  I am not sure if it is also an anti inflammatory but Dr John Campbell notes it acts as an immune modulator which is pretty useful at this time.

Take care ladies.

K.

Thanks, Kathleen. I also take Vitamin D as I’m vegetarian and like to wear SPF50.

I’ve been taking turmeric supplements for a while now and the one thing l’ve particularly noticed is that l don’t get that awful coccyx pain on standing up. Got to be worth it!

It's been used for Centuries across the Asian World.  You won't turn yellow by ingesting it as there isn't a high enough content, however: fingers, clothing, kitchen tiles will stain  ::)

Curcumin, a compound from the root of Turmeric is the best form, I understand. I've been using Holland & Barrett's "East Meets West" brand and it has helped so much with inflammation that I can't recommend it highly enough. It's not cheap, but the quality comes with the cost. Curcumin is just amazing!
