Sandrena - is it rubbed or spread?
« on: October 01, 2020, 07:37:29 PM »

 Hi all,

Apologies if there is already a post on this topic. I've had a look through but not really found any answers so here goes!

I've started on Sandrena a couple of days ago and have been rubbing the gel into my outer thigh until it dries. I then googled the gel to see how quickly it should work (I'm desparate for a good night's sleep free of hot flushes!) and saw that it should be spread on and left to dry....

Can anyone advise me please?

Thanks very much :-)

Hi JW.
When I used it, I used to spread it on, I didn't rub it in, I found it dried pretty quickly.
I thought it was brilliant stuff.
Hope it works well for you.
Oh and  :welcomemm:
Any problems, just ask.
Good luck.

Spread or rubbed gently  ::)

How to apply the gel

Sandrena should be rubbed gently on dry and clean skin. It should not be swallowed.

Where to apply the gel

Do not apply the gel to your breasts, face or on irritated skin.
Apply the gel to your lower body or thighs.
Apply the gel to a different side of your body each day.

Follow these instructions:

1. Apply the gel once a day to the skin on your lower body or thighs.
2. Spread the gel over an area 1–2 times the size of your hand.
3. Allow the gel to dry for a few minutes.
4. Wash your hands after applying the gel. Avoid contact of the gel with your eyes. The gel may irritate your eyes.
5. Do not wash the area where you have applied the gel for at least one hour.

Hi JW2405

 :welcomemm:

I've used Sandrena so go with the overall insturction to rub it in - it is designed to be rubbed in. It's quite a sticky consistency and stays quite sticky in my experience. This contrasts with oestrogel which is a different formulation - is not sticky and is just spread ( though some do rub it in). I haven't used this but use Testogel which is exactly the same constituents ( apart from the active ingredient).

Like you I rubbed it into my thigh...

Good luck and hope you feel better soon!
