HGV drivers? + dangerous driving + hitting bridges
« on: September 12, 2020, 08:03:50 AM »

This last couple of weeks there have been several reported incidences of UK HGVs being driven into railway bridges from underneath - a lorry carrying a large piece of equipment became wedged and yesterday a double decker carrying school children was off route = hit a bridge.  Several left with life changing injuries ........... what is happening  :-\  :'(

Locally several school coach drivers are over 70 .......... which in itself is OK but surely more testing should take place, at least so that they are aware of the route and height of the vehicle.

Oh clkd, you wouldn't believe the bad driving we see on the motorway,we were just about to overtake a lorry when it kinda swerved over the line, right in front of us,what a scare we got, when we passed him, what was he doing? Texting or at least he was looking at his phone, and it's not an isolated incident,HGV drivers are in potentially lethal weapons,I don't know what is happening  :-\
