Joint pain has been my lot for decades for which I now take Zapain a paracetamol/codeine mix. This mix 3 times daily has helped but it does have side effects ie constipation so you have to be mindful of that if you suffer IBS also.

I am weaning myself off one of codeine each time now and taking Naproxen which is an anti-inflammatory but only the one per day as they can increase BP if taken 3 x daily for a long while.

For me first thing in the morning is by far the worst. I need an hour to loosen up with lots of hot tea but then I can potter and eventually move around more easily.

Stress is a big no-no when it comes to helping ourselves deal with much that the MP and getting older throws at us. I always look forward to that glass of vino if things get too hot to handle!

Good luck!
