Also - it would appear that there is a fungus caused by aphids [? melon ?] which is affecting leaves on budleah .........

I separated two fighting newly fledged blue tits earlier, they were locked together shouting at each other  :o now I thought that my sister and I were bad enough  ::)

I once saw two robins fighting,my goodness,feathers were flying everywhere,they look so sweet and innocent to  ;D

Robins are vicious  >:(.  Blackbirds aren't far behind when protecting territory.

Not many tadpoles in the top pond, lots of very small froglets around, need to watch where we put our feet  :o

Bit of a worry our buddliea bush is  now in full flower and no sign whatsoever of any butterflies.

Good that you have some butterflies though.
It’s just strange not to have any once our buddleia gets going.

Some budleahs have been affected by melon virus  ::).  Our 4 shrubs are beginning to get buds on  8)
