That's a shame jaypo. I hate to see any animal hit on the road. The red kites around here would have been having a great feasting.

Foxes are so beautiful, sadly this is a country road and we're always seeing deer and badger lying at the side of the road, I always just hope it's quick

Ours do but usually after the buzzards have had a go first. Red kites are inherently lazy and the badger is quite tough to get into I think.

We have a thrush  8) seen on night camera at Dawn.  One was around last year intermittently and I heard one singing in the Autumn.  But rarely seen  :)

New bird feeder seems to be deterring the crows, although one of them was lying on the ground this morning, was that a crow? Or Mr Squirrel? Also saw a little hawk sitting on one of the trees, never seen him before

It's weird how that happens, I was walking through the forest at the back of the house and the bird song was almost deafening, then, all of a sudden.....nothing,not a peep,I said to my daughter,do they know something we don't?

It could have been a bird of prey went over.  The quietest woods were on Anglesey - not a sound.  DH and I walked quicker and quicker to the car park - not usual 4 him to be freaked!

They have gone, apart from a few birds there's very little activity  :o.  But it's going to get colder by Sat.  :whist:
