The piece about snails was interesting, almost made me want to buy some bright crayons and catch my own  ;)

That's about right for this time of year. Ours haven't started yet but it's always after nightfall when they do.

It would be great if there was one in there. Which type did you get?

It's a....wicker-surround Igloo Hedgehog House. DH put it in a quiet corner under a hedge, and covered it with some plastic sheet, and then covered that with soil and leaves.....We put hay and dried leaves inside......WE had seen a hedgehog in that area.....so in the Autumn we put hedgehog food and water out every night. The food went but of course it may not have been the hedgehog that took it.......

Let us know. Have you got a remote camera you can set up. You might miss it!

No I would love a camera........got a birthday coming up soon 🙏🏻.....
A few years ago in the Summer when I could sit on the grass....I used to go in the garden just when it was going dusk,  and  a hedgehog used to come along and bring her two babies, and used to feed out of my hand....   Magical time that was 👍🏻👍🏻

We have a trail camera which works on a small thingy on which the photos are stored, then it transfers to the lap-top.  MAJIC  ;D

Can't remember the name of the make but several birding companies sell them .......... if you put trail camera into google ;-)

We haven't disturbed the two hedgehog houses that Himself made but must put the camera outside 1 of them .......

Good to see that "our" cuckoos are on the move - Spring must be just around the corner.. https://www.bto.org/science/migration/tracking-studies/cuckoo-tracking

I'm tracking Selborne this year.

That's good.  Heard a few last year.

Daffodils opening in sheltered places.  In time for St David's ?
