Have a look on the Bat Conservation Trust site for info. They are probably roosting fairly close in an attic or maybe someone local has bat boxes.

Any idea, off the top of your head, the make of your bat detector?  We are off to Bird Fair on Sunday, anxiety allowing and the Bat group will be there.

It's a Magenta bat detector.

On HART the gallery is month by month so if you click on the month it should bring up the photos for that month. Also on the home page there's a FB link at the top which I think you can access even if not on FB which has videos. There's no financial contribution for any of it.

I love bats...
When I found out about their sonar when I was young, it blew me away....
Always been intrigued by them, maybe something to do with watching old vampire movies.

We had a small one follow us and that swooped at us when we had all that snow.
We were walking through this walkway by a river....it was sooo funny watching my OH getting a shifty on...🤣😂 saying.. wtf is that? 🤣😂🤣 All panicky.....
Must say, our dog wasn't bothered at all...😆
