Stage neutralised then halted.  Still trying to work out the day's winners - due to heavy snow and hail: plus a landslide: on the final up-hill section of l'Izeran ......... man busy in a snow-clearance machine ........ emergency measures activated at Val-d'zair to get visitors and teams off the mountain as many were staying up at Tiene over-night.  Glad we aren't camping  :D

DH went in 2015 and didn't find anything like that except lovely scenery around Anency.

I remember years++ ago a Stage was cut short due to snow 2 days prior to the event.  They were then bussed down to the valley.  I remember a Stage being diverted due to snow ....... but never this fast and so suddenly  :o

Like MotoGP last Summer, it's keeping the commentators on their toes  ;D

An Austrian triathlete who says she was kidnapped, stripped and threatened with drowning has revealed how she convinced her captor to free her after complimenting him on his orchids.

Nathalie Birli says she was abducted while cycling near Graz on Tuesday.
. so lucky!

As for le Tour - did anyone watch the hi lights?   Fortunately not to have been racing through that area when the landslip happened  :o it could have been such a different story  :-\

Tomorrow is to be cut short by 70 K,  I think 🤔.  Should still be very interesting though as usually we would already know the winner by now. Still all to play for.

Look out for the various groups of Police personnel cycling for Charity across the UK - started yesterday and all headed to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire for a Service, remembering fallen comrades on active service.

COPS - look at your local Police Facebook pages for more info..

le Tour coverage put back until after 1.00 p.m.  >:(

That's because it's a shortened stage hence they are starting later.

I reliased that but I was well set in  ;D

Wonder whether strings required pulling in order to re-route the Stage: whether it's a local emergency evacuation plan kicked in: or whether le Tour has such clout that they simply told the local Mayor that 'we will cycle down the dual carriageway'  ;D

We passed the Police Unity Tour in Hatfield Woodhouse (nr Doncaster) yesterday, they had started at Humberside Police force HQ at Hessle!

We saw them along the A5 very early this morning .......... I love it at the Arboretum worth a visit.  There is always something going on as well as being able to wander and sit.

Paris on late tomorrow.  A whole day to ourselves then  :D

I've missed you  :-\ ....... what a finish, where DID Caleb spring from  :o  :-*

Your friends weren't the couple caught on camera crawling from a small pup tent into their car ?  seen from the chopper  :-\.  Had we been there in our camper we would have pulled them in ;-).

Do I feel a hi-lights party coming on for you and your friends?  May I join in, I'll wash up  ;D

I wonder how Egan will cope with the crowds and microphone in a few moments.  Lovely scene from him and 'G'
