The latest eyebrow doo-da is laminated brows. It's a fraction of the cost of dermablading but only lasts 4-6 weeks. I've an appointment before Christmas and I'll report back with bad or good reviews  ::) :D

Well, had my appointment 2 days ago and I would definitely recommend brow laminating. The downside is remembering to keep cleanser off them! A gentle wipe with tissue or cotton wool is all the cleansing required. I had a lash-lift and tint at the same appointment and WOW!! didn't know I had such sexy lashes  Just wish the rest of me could be tweaked  :cancan:

I bought the Rimmel nail polish gel without the lamp (a 2-step procedure) and am going to try doing my own nails for Christmas day. Hoping to save money and hopefully have nice looking nails without causing the stress to my nails which gel causes.

Anyone else trying a DIY treatment for Christmas day?

Maybe 2 weeks, approx. If you take 5 mins to use an eyelash curler then mascara (I like clear unless going out. —  not going out these days :o ::) but some days it’s good to pretend!) the lift should last longer.

I use rapid lash serum,it's from boots and it's pricey but after two weeks or so,omg, your lashes are really long, you just need one coat of mascara,it's fab

I always wondered if rapid Lash serum was any good and now I know it does! How often do you apply it?

(needing cheering up so thought I'd post an update!) I don't know what the beautician did but 3 weeks on and my eyelashes are still longer and sweetly turned up at the ends  and that's without mascara! (too lazy right now) Of course, now I have the time and money to have this treatment every 4-6 weeks, the blasted salon has to stay shut!!! I will message the lovely beautician and tell her the good news and leave a review on her FB page (if I can find it this month:lol:)

On another positive, I am delighted with my hair at last! The answer? Lidl's Tea tree shampoo+conditioner, towel dry hair, apply John Freida Luxurious Volume blow out spray and dry, then straighteners with gentle turn under at each side, finger-dry the back. I hope I can never find the thinning scissors again as they are what cause all the hair trouble I have!  :diablo:

Any other happy hair, smoother skin or fabulous beauty product story to share?
