Quick question.
I'm 43 and in peri. Trying the BCP as a way of controlling and levelling symptoms. I'm now on my third pill

I think the 30mg estrogen suits me. My mood us good. I tired a 20mg one and I didn't feel good.
So, this is my second 30mg estrogen pill. Mood is good avd level. The first pill gave me migraines. Those have gone now. This pill is making me extremely anxious. I am jittery, shaky etc... Its horrible.
So, my conclusion is, it is all in the progestins. I notice a lot of people on hrt seem to struggle with the progestin, I assume this is the same.
So my question really is this - now that the 30mg estrogen is in my blood stream and helping, should I now just swap around until I find a pill with a progestin that suits??? They all have the same estrogen anyway. I'm speaking to my gp tomorrow.
I've tried a pill at either end of the pill ladder, so I guess I need to try somewhere in the middle next...... What a journey!!!
