Joaniepat, if you're about 5 miles from Banstead, you may be near my folks. They are up on the Downs.
Glad you are filling a little better today. xx

I'm up on the Downs too 😊

I always think that's such a funny expression, "up on the Downs"! I used to live in Banstead, but moved away to a small town nearby.

Is it funny ? Ive always said it. But then I was born there, so, maybe its just something 'us Downsers' say 😉

My daughter has it (lives in London - the UK epicentre).  Well almost certain to be it in the absence of testing. She is on Day 11 of self-isolation because her husband was a bit under the weather with very mild symptoms, a bit of a cough, fatigue, achey limbs etc not even a fever so they weren't even sure he had it but she had a fever last night and is very tired today. Hoping she also gets it mildly....

Ive been on my first week of self isolation due to contact last week with a number of suspected children and staff at school.  I already had a sore throat which developed into a bit of a croaky voice and slight cough but no fever so didnt worry too much. I then had for 3 days very painful aching at the back of my thighs and hips, (new to me) had to have hot water bottles to help relieve this and paracetamol.  Today my eyes now hurt to move, hurt if I press the lids and sensitive to light and I feel tired.  Each symtom has been separate over the last week, when one ended another started.  Im hoping this is it now.

Dierdre. Wish you well soon.
Do you have anyone can get you shopping. Keep well hydrated.

I posted on the other thread about the fact I'm not sure if I already had it in Feb and i said exactly the same about leg pains.   It persisted longer than the other symptoms but went away  hasnt come back.

It may be another virus. We arent being told specifically leg pains are a feature but I have never had pains in my legs like that. Even with flu.

Sending love and hugs. Xxx

My nephew has had symptoms for 8 days.  He's a strapping lad and it's made him feel really ill, he says worse in case it's The Virus  >:( as he can't dismiss it as 'flu'

I haven't seen him for over 18 years.  Wouldn't recognise him if I met him in the street  ::)

Until we get anti-virus testing people won't know exactly what they have been infected with/not.  Hopefully as part of on-going researching regarding C-19 to gain a wider picture testing will be available to anyone who has suffered.  It won't need to be done immediately .......

Anyone heard from Kathleen.  She has not be on since the 17th.  I know she has several heath issues so I hope she doesn't have the virus.
