I'm 47 and peri . I moved from Femeston 1/10 two weeks ago (it wasn't cutting it, getting night sweats again) and advised to move to Oestrogen gel and Utrogestran tablets. I've been on then 2 weeks. Started with 2 pumps, night sweats persisted and got new symptom of daytime hot flushes! Upped it to 4 pumps, and no improvement. I put the gel on the top of my thighs. I can't put in on my thin skin on my arms as I have huge boobs and the gel would come into contact with boobs, which isn't recommended. I am wondering if I am not getting enough Oestrogen.
I am going to the doctors at 11 and I think I'm going to ask to try patches instead as I wondering if, for me, the dosing might be more consistent.
I am bloody sick of the menopause, it can do one!!
