I'm always dipping into self help books.  One of them suggests that every morning you write down three things to be grateful for and you focus on them as you start your day.
I did it last summer and it helped defer my anxiety somewhat.
I'm going to do that religiously tomorrow BEFORE my usual new morning ritual of “What is today's ailment?”
P.S. for those interested (lol), today's first ailment was brain related headache, later superseded by unexplained wrist bruise (maybe caused by carrying two 43 inch televisions in one go out of John Lewis singlehanded, maybe not).

Agata. Good idea about thinking what you're grateful for. It worked for you before.
And glad to hear  you didn't add shoplifting to the list of menopausal symptoms.  :)
