Charlie. Did you keep your ovaries? How old are you?  And do you have endometriosis.? What was the reason for your op?
There is lots of brilliant advice and experience on here.  Dont mean to bombard you with questions but they are all relevantnt with HRT.

Please answer so the ladies on here can give you more specific help/advice.

I kept my ovaries but within 2 months of op was suffering from loss of estrogen - didn't realise it at time - I just thought it was post op condition.I had been warned off HRT by well meaning doctors . Suggest you start sooner rather than later . Great book called Estrogen Matters by Avrum Bluming available on Amazon. I'm on evorel patches having been on estrodot but they weren't always available .

Am looking at Premarin as it contains 9 estrogens and one of which might help with preventing / delaying dementia.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies! I had op for endometriosis in the womb. I believe ovaries stop functioning a few years after op. Mine was in 2016. GP doesn't seem to know which preparation is suitable. They are not experts anyway!
Having to do blood pressure monitor as well.
Cheers! Charliegirlxx
