noise intolerance
« on: February 01, 2019, 07:58:16 PM »

I realised recently that I suddenly have an intolerance to noise, in busy restaurants.  We had an office party today and I just felt so unwell and anxious.  It was the noise.  I took myself out of the situation, went back to my desk, put on my headphones and played some relaxing meditation music.  My god it really calmed me down.  This also helps with sleep, that or white noise, like a fan.

I literally have to turn tv off or leave the room when the likes of question time comes on,not because of the programme itself but when everyone starts talking through each other and you can't hear what any of them are saying.my poor head feels like it's going to explode

Its background noise that does it for me,like when you are out and all the talking noise that it going on around. After loosing a bit of hearing last year due to a virus, my right ear feels muffled with a humming noise constantly on top of my tinnitus makes it all so unbearable, i wish sometimes i had a switch i could flip and have a bit of relief from time to time.
