Swollen breasts and aching legs

Hi ladies,
I had mirena fitted about 4 weeks ago,and for the last 2 weeks my breasts are swollen and my legs are really aching,just wondering if the coil can cause this xx

Are you using oestrogen? Sore breasts is a common side effects with HRT and this will usually settle over a few weeks.

Hi DG,
I've been on 6 pumps of gel for 4 weeks,consultant was trying to raise levels,now he has said I have an absorption problem,he wants me to try patches now xx

Oh dear - 6 pumps per day and your oestrogen levels are still low!!!!! Sore breasts might indicate that your oestrogen levels are up a bit??? I hope the patches help. DG x
