Hi there mrs Bella

Don't know anything at all about the hrt your taking, I'm on femoston conti,
But I'm so glad it's working for you, so good to hear good news, and hopefully
you'll get to feel better and better, and everything will fall back into place.

Good one mrs Bella, long may it last for you...

Thank you jillydoll!
I don't know much about all the types/forms/brands of HRT. It's all rather new to me this whole menopause thing. I tried a few others prior to the Duavive. All were a flop. I was going to give up the ghost on it but I am now glad I pushed through. It's been 5 weeks since I started and I feel loads better. Unfortunately no drug is perfect: terrible side effects and/or not effective. I am willing to compromise on this one.

Yes that is good news Mrs Bella as everyone says it does take a while to get the levels back up,you have to consider all the years we've been depleting for so it just takes time to replace then balance.im really pleased when we get positive feedback like that.xx

Oh Daisydot it's such a relief. This time last week I was fretting about what to do next as I was still having symptoms. I am sooooooo thrilled it's now kicked in. Thank you for your support and advice over last week. X

Hi Mrs Bella,

I'm really fascinated by your positive words about Duavive because I have recently been diagnosed with LCIS (Lobular Carcinoma in situ) and I've just had to come off estradiol & Utrogestan (HRT prescribed by Nick Panay at Queen Charlottes) and my breast surgeon wants to put me on Tamoxifen which I'm terrified of.  I've had some really bad reactions to various meds (I have a number of medical problems since peri-meno started), in particular anxiety, depression, insomnia, hypertension and am on drugs for all of them which give me enough side effects as it is.

May I ask if this is the first HRT you've tried and how come you were prescribed it - not a lot of people have heard of it, I know it hasn't been used in the UK for long.

Do you have any side effects from it?

Any info would be massively welcome.

Thanks in advance!
