Where do you shop for clothes?
« on: May 22, 2018, 09:55:59 PM »

Just wondering where you go for your clothes? (either High St or online)
I seem to be having an identity crises as far as clothes are concerned.
If anyone has any go-to shops for age appropriate but still stylish (but comfy, cotton & make you look at least 2 sizes smaller  ;D ) clothes, please share you are secret.
I hope I am not going over old ground (I have searched on the forum)
Thanks

At the moment I get most of mine from White Stuff. They do quite a lot of cotton if that's a requirement.

I try to live and work in jeans.
I tend to get most of my tops from either Fat Face or Mantaray. I'm definitely a casual type, who feels uncomfortable having to get dressed up  :D

Charity shops!

M&S do the only jeans that fit me and don't make me look like an elephant.

Buying new, I usually go for fair trade labels.  Apart from the ethical reasons, they are usually loose fitting items made from natural fabrics which help with the hot moments!  I have a fair trade shop near me that has lots of different labels, but you could do a search online to see if there are any brands which stock items you like.

Anywhere I can find linen, natural fabrics in muted colours.

I like White Stuff
Seasalt
Mantaray.
I like looking at Pinterest to get ideas and for individual shops.

Get your M&S stocks in ! they are in difficulties.

'cotton traders' as they do jeans in the exact length I require.   However, size 10s are not the same across the various designers  ::)

Tops from Charity shops.  Socks and undies, new.
