Hi every one.

Just wondering, anyone had a bet today on the grand national?

Yes and followed tradition our Dad did with us by letting the kids pick a few with 50p each way!

At least it's a nice day for it!

Hi snooze.

Yeah same with us too.
Even if we didn't have a proper bet, we,d pick a horse outa the hat.
Brings back great memories.
I've tried to keep it going with my own family now.
Husband hates it with a passion, says it's too harsh. So he won't be betting today! ::)

Good luck snooze. But it is anybody's race.  ;)

I do hate it when the horses fall and I believe one is injured.

Well youngest is £14.30 richer! Eldest £6.30 richer and me £1.50 richer!  :)

Don't believe in the Grand National.  The horses should run without jockeys ........ after all, they are bred to jump.

My son ‘had a tip'. Lol
Put 20 quid on it. Lol
Came no where..
He moaned and said ‘its a fix'. Lol
I had to laugh.. told him not to put that much on it.

Horse racing ent his thing. He's into football. Big time..
That'll teach him. Lol

Glad to hear someone else had a bit of luck.

My hubby don't like it either. Thinks it's too much for the horses.
