Endometrial Scan
« on: February 10, 2018, 03:39:29 PM »

Hello everyone

I saw Prof. Studd in November 2016 and changed over to natural oestrogen, etc and am very lucky that my GP will prescribe everything (even the Testim with some encouragement!).  Can anyone let me know where to have a endometrial scan to see how I'm doing on the progesterone?  I live in London.  Thanks very much.  :)

London it is very easy to get a scan if you are willing to pay.  What you need to search for is 'endometrial ultrasound'.  There is a place called sonoworld near Regent's Park I've been too which was good but I don't think there is much between place except price.  I had this done recently and if they can't see things through the abdomen they will then do a transvaginal ultrasound which although undignified was completely painless, quick and very reassuring.
