DH was browsing the web today and a certain airline was having a 24 hour sale on flights to Lanzarote. ✈️
So he booked for November and saved 50% on the original price result.

I heard on TV today that its the start of the late deal bargains.  Holidays any time in the next 8 weeks.  I am going to try to persuade OH to take another weeks holiday in early Sept. Trouble is the person who sees to our horses wont be able to do it again this year and he wont trust them to anybody who we dont know is totally reliable.

DO check the times of the Chunnel.  Due to the heat  :o the air conditioning keeps failing, apparently it isn't designed to work over 30D!!!!  1 can cancel out-going tickets and get money back but can use the return ticket to get back to England.  It means booking a ferry though and those are very busy anyway  ::)

Scotland is lovely.  Enjoy the break Lanzalover.  Tnk goodness there is plenty to do in the UK ;-)

Oh Lanza,
How lovely,
We went to Scotland years ago, and before we left , England-and Scotland had a massive dumping of
snow, but we still went. Lol
We drove up to Inverness, stayed in a log type cabin, and it was -20 degrees.  Lol
I've never felt cold like it......
It was only me and OH, and our dog. The snow was that deep, our dogs legs sank in the snow right up to her belly,it looked like she had no legs in photos......lol
But the mountains were something else. Totally beautiful.

Have a great time Lanza, you deserve it.......

Yep, same here.
We only bring something back for grandkids now,
And that's only if we see anything...most of the time it's just rubbish.
But I do love having a nose around the shops. OH always says, how the bloody hell are we gonna get that back! Because I've bought something so big....lol
So now I don't bother, but I like having something from the country I've visited.
As a reminder......
