Strange uncomfortable feeling under left breast?
« on: September 24, 2017, 01:25:10 PM »

Hi all just wondering if anyone else has had this, It's not there all the time but every so often I get a strange feeling under left breast. It's not quite a pain but like there's something there uncomfortable and sore. I know it's not heart related as this has been checked out but it's still enough to make me a bit panicky and worry. Bad enough dealing with this dizziness without this as well, any suggestions as to what it could be , x

Get it a gentle palpation with the palm of the hand, bend forwards slightly then sit up.  It could be because of your posture.

If you look at my previous posts I have been suffering from this for weeks - it is almost certainly trapped wind, probably from swallowing air through anxiety.

Mine is very anxiety related - if I'm out and busy it goes (or I don't focus on it).  I get very stressed about it and start looking for it, which then makes my anxiety worse and it becomes a vicious circle.

Try to relax and ignore it.

Rebel2, that's exactly me. If I'm out or busy I don't notice it, my ibs is acting up so I think it is trapped wind. The funny thing is if it was on the right side I probably wouldn't be as worried. My health anxiety focuses on my heart. Will try and focus on breathing properly and try my best to ignore it

I've had it on and off for about six weeks, first with an upset stomach, but now just the trapped wind feeling.   Have had a very, very upsetting and anxious summer so am hoping it will now settle down.

Any thoughts from other sufferers? Mathis health anxiety thing is driving me mad...
