Emergency Biscuit Thread (or what I keep in my handbag)
« on: September 08, 2017, 08:21:12 PM »

Someone once thought it was funny that I keep an emergency biscuit in my handbag  ;D  I usually squirrel away those ones you get free with a cup of coffee.

Unfortunately the one time I needed it, it was too small and it was in pieces!

I also keep:

A spare pair of knickers
A spare liner, S towel, big tampon.
Polythene bag for emergency disposal (or not)
Tissues
Ibuprofen
Paracetamol

This is my menopause survival kit  ;)  I have a version in each of my bags.

I need a backpack at the moment. Clean trousers, knickers, pad, wipes, toilet paper ( following incontinence episode yesterday!) plus reliever inhaler with spacer, phone, purse, plus any other junk that sneaks in. Hopefully I will be able to downsize soon. I look as if I'm leaving home!

Must admit Ju Ju, the one time I needed my spare knickers, I also needed the spare trouser I just happened to have to change into later  ::)

I also have the other stuff like antihistamines, throat sweets, blisteze, and the pen.  I have one with a torch on it which in theory would be amazingly useful, only I never remember I have it when I need it  ;D

(has anyone got any good substitutes for the crumbling biscuit?)

My kit is my insurance! Not sure where I could have cleaned up when I had my accident. :( Glad to say I didn't open my back pack today.

Love this thread!

I also tuck away the free coffee biscuits for emergencies.
Plus paracetamol, pen, hairbrush, lippy, miniature sewing kit (from a cracker), miniature screw driver kit (from cracker) and the all important hand sanitizer  :D

I also have a credit card sized photo book of my family in case I see anyone I have not seen for years and then I can whip it out and bore them silly  ;D

My pharmacist friend is insistent that I should always eat something when taking ibuprofen.

Therefore, the emergency biscuit is more important than I initially thought.  ;)
