Hasty, I'm really interested in getting some of these for after my surgery. Would you have any idea where to buy them please ?

CLKD- you should try Symprove. Get it online. It is pricey but does the trick. I took it for a few months before I went to Burma ( I've got IBS )
I was the only one in our group that didn't get hit by a tummy bug. Had a few twinges but nothing like the others had. You should google it x

If you look on Amazon there are loads. I use Mega Pro biotic HD.

I have used the Optibac ones in the past and they are very good. You can get them easily in Boots or Superdrug.
Actimel is a nice morning drink but that's about it to be honest.

To get the good bacteria into your gut then a good pro biotic is needed. It's either that or make your own. Home made sour kraut is supposed to be good....but I can't see you doing that CLKD.  I would rather just buy a supplement as it's much easier.

;D ......... Saukraut is mentioned in Dr Mosleys book, which is now on order.  It's a mid-European stable apparently of fermented veg., usually cabbage and beetroot ........ best to make one's own so that one knows exactly how pure it is.

I don't think that jars of saukraurt are any good at all.
I did read on the forum previously that one member was very knowledgeable about that kind of thing.

What do you think about a pro biotic tablet CLKD ?

Is it something that you might be interested in.

I use a 20 billion culture probiotic from Holland & Barrett - definitely made a difference. Half price at the moment too which helps. Check if they need to stay in the fridge if you do get some CLKD - the type is tiny so I didn't realise at first.

I started probiotics about a week ago and the bloating has gone right down.

I have used simple acidophilus capsules from Just Vitamins (online) for years, wouldn't be without them  :)
