I did find that if DH rubbed from my belly button downwards it would shift things.  We could see the wind moving  ::) …….  :o.  It didn't matter when I ate though; little and often or hardly at all.

That's strangely romantic!  ;)

Glad everything went ok Dyan. You were very brave. I would need a sedative to get me to the hospital.

 :thankyou: PN & Littleminnie.
I was very nervous leading up to it but tried to calm myself with breathing.
Once I'd had the sedative I didn't know anything until they were taking the camera out and I was too chilled to panic.

Prajna- the only thing the consultant told me was to avoid too much fatty food which I do anyway.
I tend to eat little & often throughout the day and have a meal in the evening which I have now cut down as I was finding my portions creeping up ::)

I read that wheat bran should be avoided if you have a slow digestive tract as this bulks your stomach so that the other food cannot pass through quickly enough.
I have stopped eating bread for one and now have Ryvitas which are ok because they are rye and breakfast cereals containing wheat bran , weetabix, all bran, bran flakes for porridge,as oats are better for your digestive system.....apparently.

Oats have been used North of the Border for years  ;)
DH eats a bowl of porridge with home grown soft fruits every morning for breakfast - slow release foods help keep energy levels even - apparently  ::)
Wouldn't touch Weetabix, bran etc..
I have had background heartburn intermittently all week but it's probably due to The Germ
Also I find too much butter can cause heartburn ….. could it be the oil in it?
Ryvitas  :-X  ;D ….. didn't know they were still available  ::)
Spelt is probably more digestible?

How have you been Dyan since the procedure  :-\

I had a day without heartburn but it came back yesterday.  I have been trying to remember what I ate to see if there is a trigger food for me. Have any of you noticed a trigger food?

My cycle is all over the place.  I have bleeding for 5 weeks out of the last 6, which is why I need the iron tablets.  It's so hard not knowing what is causing it.

I agree about the frustration. Something that might set it off last week will be absolutely fine for me this week. I love horlicks but it sets me off big time. Too scared to eat anything these days. You have my sympathies  :)

;D ……… and why, in the dishwasher, is the salt container almost at the back of the machine  ::) ……

I try to take my crocks on a tray to the machine, bend down and load.  Try to remember to bend before taking crocks out ….

No problems today - yet ………
