I know they say you shouldn't watch tv laptops etc b4 bed but it really does get me to sleep I watch till my eyes get heavy then I switch off and conk,no tossing or turning just straight into a happy contented sleep for a good 7 hours now,ok sometimes the cats knock me up around 5-45 but not every single morning now like it used to be and if hubbys going to work that's his get up time so he deals with them and I can sleep on.
My latest sleep aid is Netflix new series “superstition” scary stuff lol xx

I'm still up. Just back from the pub which was quite busy. Good to see in this age of dying pubs!

First night on an expensive new mattress and can't sleep a wink on it, so I'm still up. Gawd, I hope I can get used to it eventually, it seemed so comfortable in the shop!

Thanks Jeaniewigs, think I will have to look into mattress toppers. I am used to a flatter mattress, and one that I don't sink into so much. I think this one would be fine for those who sleep on their back, but a killer for side sleepers. Finally got to sleep with a pillow between my knees, which is fine until you want to turn over! I might look into the sofa support thing too, thanks for that idea. What a resourceful person you are!

I just can't switch off!
I've had a few bad days this week , nothing major, just quite,
and ‘hollow' if you know what I mean....not really giving a hoot about anything....
Tired too, even though I've been sleeping , up until now...
Now I just can't drop off,.......think I'll go  get some milk, and try again...

Sleep well ladies...xxx

Poor you, jillydoll. I hope the milk worked. Not being able to sleep doesn't help anything. My rule now is no caffeine after 3pm, and now I do find it easier to sleep. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Joaniepat

Thanx.
The milk did help, i think, lol it was 2.45am before I dropped off!
Next thing, I'm waking up at 8am.
I had a fish cake and a few chips from the chippy for my dinner, I'm wondering
if it was that, I don't normally eat chip shop food.(it was horrible, by the way.) lol
Only had it because it was there, and I knew I had to something.
Hope tonight is better, the food was, I made my own cottage pie....lol

How's the bed going Joaniepat?
Hope your used to it now, and getting some very good shut eye on it...
It does take a bit to get used to a new bed...

Xx
