Three things I'm grateful for ...

* My 2 beautiful adult daughters, so proud of them and what they've achieved.
* My lovely boyfriend of 4 years (who is moving in with me in March), I'm 60, he's 63, so excited but also a wee bit scary as I haven't lived with a romantic partner in 21 years!  :-*
* My caring and supportive girlfriends, so precious

1) My lovely son, who I was told that I would never have after an earlier ectopic pregnancy - he is an absolute joy to me!

2) My Hubby, for being my best friend and all round brilliant bloke! Not one argument in all our years of marriage - no, not one!

3) Mother Nature - because despite the stupidity of the human race, she quietly glides on creating peace and beauty amongst the total chaos of mankind.

What a lovely thread - can I resurrect it please?

My 3 are: my lovely husband is helping to cope with retirement and a major house move
our lovely new daughter-in-law (wedding is in August)
              my girlfriends

I find it hard to be 1/2 full and not 1/2 empty, hopefully this thread will spur me onto more *ve things!

Hello Poppi, I spent a lifetime being three quarters empty.  You have to get to rock bottom to start to find the way up and you cannot do it without help.  These days I find I am only half empty and a lot of the time I can be half full.  I am getting there but you do need support and to rid your life of people who drag you down.

I agree about ditching those who drain us!  I have one person left in my Life who does that, the rest I put to one side years ago ;-)
