I switched liners to Allways unscented for the same reasons.
I do think you should see the GP for ABs if you're feeling unwell, not just uncomfortable.
I use D Mannose powder daily in my tea. I think it helps (so does vagifem but not in your tea  ;D)
Hope you feel better.

The bacteria which causes many urine infections lives in the back passage and can be transferred = problems.

Just to add to rosebud57's list - in order to empty bladder properly, those of us with retroverted uterus need to lean forward after you think you've finished. I can do a whole other pee after finishing the first one, by leaning  ;D - well - not quite so much but there's defo some still in there - more than just drips!

It's where the uterus is tilted (usually) backwards Zoe. I found out mine was retroverted during pregnancy.  It didn't affect urination with me although for years I thought it did. After having a hysterectomy I still have to do the sitting forward thingy even though there's no uterus anymore  :-\  This info is interesting though as it can obviously affect women differently http://www.obgyn.net/hysterectomy/significance-tipped-uterus
